How do I find a case for my paralegal class?

- Once in Nexis Uni, click on Cases to open the guided search
- If it is a state case, click on State Cases under Jurisdiction and follow that with the state the case was heard in, if it is a federal case, click on Federal Cases
- Type in the keywords or the participants. This can be limited by the date if necessary but it can also be limited later in your results list.
- Click Search.
- Scroll through the cases until you come to the one you want and use the limiters on the left if the results are too numerous.
