Your library barcode allows you to request books from EGCC and OhioLINK, and to access databases through the State's OhioLINK database portal. Below are the steps you will need to take to determine your library barcode. 

 Faculty: Please email libhelp@egcc.edu for your library barcode. Alumni: Please register with the library to receive a library barcode. 

Students:  

Your library barcode will be your first initial capped, last name with first letter capped, last four digits of your STUDENT ID#.

example: JTaylor1234      

This examples is for a student named Jane Taylor with STUDENT ID# of xxx-xx-1234

You can locate your student ID # by going to My Account in your student portal (https://easterngateway.sharepoint.com/Student/​).

*The Exception* 

If you have multiple last names, or a hyphenated last name, or names that include multiple capitalized letters; the first letter of each name and any other capitalized letter will be capitalized. Please do not include spaces or hyphens or apostrophes between the names. 

Example: Jane Taylor Smith would appear 

Library Barcode: JTaylorSmith1234
